Eliminate always-on access risks with limited-time access to applications for external users.
Follow the below-mentioned steps to grant automated, time-bound access to the new contractor on board:
Navigate to the Workflows module and select onboarding.
Here, you can create a new playbook.
Select Azure AD as the application and add the required in-app actions to create a contractor account.
Now, you can define the conditions to revoke contractors' Azure AD access.
Then, you've to schedule the date when you want to trigger the 'Remove a User' action to revoke access from Azure AD. Once done, save the playbook.
Next, you have to configure the automation rule and specify the following: 'When' - User is marked for onboarding 'Condition' - User account type equals external, 'Then' - Run contractor playbook. Once the conditions are met, Zluri will automatically run the playbook and perform the specified time-bound actions.
Now, go to the Directory module, select Users, and click on the External tab. There, search for the contractor's name, click on the 3 dots, and select the 'Mark for Onboarding' action.
Finally, schedule the contractor's joining date and let Zluri handle the onboarding automatically.
