Access Requests on Zluri

Go to the Applications module.

Search 'Zendesk' under the 'Applications' tab and create a provisioning playbook.

Now, click 'Automation' and select 'Provisioning.' Then, click on 'Add.'

Next, you need to define the in-app action in the workflow. To do so, you need to add a user to Zendesk and assign the required role 'admin.' Once done, save the task and click 'Publish app playbook.'

Then, go to 'Automation,' select 'Access Request,' and click '+New Rule.'

Now, you have to configure the automation rule to trigger the Zendesk provisioning playbook when the user requests access. For that, you need to define the following: 'When' - Access is requested for an existing application, 'Condition' - User account type equals employee, 'Then' - Initiate the approval process. Once the rules are defined, specify the provisioning action as 'Run a playbook' and select 'Provisioning Playbook for Access Request.' Then save the rule. Once the conditions are met, Zluri will automatically run the Zendesk provisioning playbook whenever a user requests it.

Next, you, as an employee, have to log in to Zluri's app catalog using your credentials. After that, you have to go to the 'access request' interface.

Now, you have to specify application access requirement details, such as for whom you are requesting the access, license, access duration, the reason for your request, etc., and click 'Confirm request.' A summary of your request will appear. Now, you can return to the access request module, and your request status will be shown. Once you have submitted the request, it will be notified to the admin or the approver.

Now, you, as an admin, can log in to Zluri using admin credentials. Click on the 'Workflows' module and select 'Access Request.' Once done, it will display a list of all the pending requests, along with the details from which you can select the ones with the highest priority. Upon selecting the application, Zluri will display the detailed version of the access request requirement.

You can review the details and approve or reject the access request accordingly. Once approved, employees get immediate access to the application 'Zendesk.'
